What You Get When Using KIRK NET To Design Your Web Sites
All Pages made by KIRK NET are hand coded in a text editor instead of using the usual What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get HTML editors that most web design firms use. Though this takes a bit longer, you end up with higher quality web pages that have more of a professional look. This also allows the web pages to be better optimized to load faster and are compatible with older web browsers.
My web pages are designed so that they can load fast whatever speed your customers connect to the internet at. This way you don't lose business from a web page that takes half an hour to load. First impressions do make or break a web site, if your site is too slow, your site will be more of a detraction from your business than it will help it.
My sites are designed to run on both older and newer browsers, and run decent on older computers, (386s, 486s, etc…) This makes it so that everybody on the net can view your site instead of the select few that have just downloaded the latest and greatest web browser and plug-ins. The more people who can view your web site, the more people who you will make a good impression on.
My sites do avoid using multimedia thrills (web cams, JAVA, Javascript, Visual Basic, plug-ins, etc…) that will slow down the general loading of the site, but do use them when they are thought necessary to the site. Multimedia is a nice addition to any site, but only as an option. Forcing your web audience through it and not getting to the point of your site immediately will make more customers mad than impress them with the fancy features of the site.
My sites deliver quality above all else for the money you pay. You will pay much less with me than other developers, but more importantly, you will have a higher quality product.
Most web development and design firms just throw together a web page with a What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get HTML editor, play with some graphics, and a few other flares without thought and charge thousands of dollars. They don't check over the coding of the pages, optimize the graphics, or make sure the page can load well in anything other than the latest and greatest browsers and computers. This gives you a big hole in your budget while you have a slow, crash prone web site that your customers can't (or can't be bothered to) view or use.
